There are days when you’re so hungry you could eat a cow – that’s when Jakarta’s all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants will save you money compared to buying individual dishes.
Besides the popular Korean and Japanese BBQ buffets at shopping malls, Jakarta’s all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants also offer other types of food, including dim sum, meat, and plant-based Indian dishes, as well as Brazillian-style BBQ.
Till it’s safe to venture out for social gatherings over buffets again, these 7 restaurants also offer GrabFood and GoFood delivery for safer group dining at home.

Bring a friend along to share in the feast, because there’s a minimum requirement of two people per table. And unlike most all-you-can-eat places, you have to pay before you are seated.
You’ll get numerous fried and steamed options with fillings ranging from chicken, shrimp, and mushrooms to even durian and chocolate. There’re also free refills of tea and porridge to complete your meal.

You can choose from three food “tiers”: Regular (Rp. 118,000, or ~USD8.65) per adult, Premium (Rp. 148,000, ~USD10.85) per adult, and Wagyu (Rp. 198,000, ~USD14.52) per adult. These are lunch and weekday prices, while you’ll need to pay an extra Rp. 20,000 (~USD1.47) per adult for dinner time and weekends.
Diners get 90 minutes to eat, and pay Rp. 50,000 (~USD3.54) for each additional 30 minutes.

Choose from six types of soup bases, namely Healthy Collagen, Fresh Tom Yum, Authentic Sukiyaki, Japanese Curry, Original Sukinabe, and Spicy Gochujang. For every tier, you can pick chicken and seafood options apart from the usual beef. Lastly, for an extra Rp. 35,000 (~USD2.57) per person, you can also get a grill – a plus point as similar restaurants tend to only offer either grilled food or soupy food.
Alternatively, if you’re looking to try their food at home, GoFood and GrabFood offer their soup bases and ingredients for delivery, so you can grill up a storm safely in your own kitchen.

Sushi is often eaten slowly and carefully, but there are times when you just want to dig in and stuff yourself with as many of them as possible. The thing is, other than hotel restaurants, it can be quite hard to find sushi buffets for casual dining.

You also get free green tea.

If you want to treat yourself to a general South American culinary experience, stop by El Asador in Kemang.
