Bali Beach Glamping: Camp In Style Between A Black Sand Beach & Rice Fields For Only Rp. 500K/Night

Bali Beach Glamping’s tents between rice paddies and a black sand beach

With so many Instagram-worthy hotels spread around the island, it can be hard trying to narrow your options to just one hotel in Bali. Seeing Bali’s postcard-perfect sunset from the beach is one experience you’d never want to miss but on the other hand, there aren’t many places in the world where you can also wake up to the sight of a rice field in the morning from your room.

Luckily, you’re saved from having to make that impossible call thanks to Bali Beach Glamping. This new luxurious camping option, located just a few kilometers up north from Tanah Lot, has tents located between a black sand beach and scenic rice fields, giving you the best of both worlds.

Beachfront accommodation isn’t hard to find in Bali but you’d be lucky if you could find one priced under Rp. 1,000,000 a night.

Bali Beach Glamping may not be as luxurious as 5-star hotels but with such gorgeous views, we’re pretty sure we’re not going to miss the extra amenities.

The property’s 40 tents are divided into three categories. The Outpost (Rp. 500,000, ~USD33.94)’s modest accommodations are perfect if you’re looking to spend your day exploring the area, but do note that they come with shared bathrooms.

For those wanting to spend the day lazing away with a view of the rice field, the more luxurious Deluxe (Rp. 900,000, ~USD61.10) and its private outdoor swing bed will fit you to a T. Meanwhile, families should upgrade to the Family (Rp. 1,100,000, ~USD74.68) tent with enough space for 4 guests.

Once you’ve settled in, make sure to head down to the beach club to catch the sunset from the property’s infinity pool right by the beach. The open area next to the pool also doubles as a wedding venue for beach weddings on a budget.

While the Batu Tampih Beach where the property sits is a public beach, it’s thankfully much less touristy than other beaches in southern Bali.

The beach’s black sand is a far cry from what you’d typically find in southern Bali but it has its own charm. It’s a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Legian Beach with a long, relaxing walk with the gorgeous sunset as the background.

The area is slowly becoming popular with local surfers, thanks to its constant medium-sized waves. Its main attraction though, especially if you’re looking to up your Instagram game, lies further north from the glamping site.

At the northern edge of the beach lies a small, grassy hill with a lone palm tree sitting at the top. The hill is quite a popular photo spot and it looks just as pretty from the beach as when you’re on top of it.

New Bali glamping spot on a secluded beach

With air-conditioned luxurious tents and an enviable combo of both the beach and a scenic rice field, Bali Beach Glamping has everything we’d ever want from a Bali hotel. The site’s secluded location also makes this a perfect getaway destination to escape from your stifling everyday life.

Address: Jl. Kebo Iwa, Banjar Batu Tampih Kangin, Kec. Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82121
