Blibli Supports Indonesian Products & Their Creators With #KarenaLokalNo1 Online Sales Campaign

Blibli supports Indonesian products from businesses

One of the advantages of shopping online is that you get to choose from a huge variety of items without having to go anywhere. But we often forget that many of these items must come from faraway places to give us this variety – leading us to overlook local products at times.

In an effort to boost locally made Indonesian products, Blibli has launched a #KarenaLokalNo1 online sales campaign. With the support of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Blibli aims to get more shoppers to buy from Indonesian creators.

To make browsing for Indonesian products easier for Blibli shoppers, the website has added a new category, Galeri Indonesia, which has 12 subcategories ranging from home decor to food to electronics.

Customers can get up to 50% discounts on select items. BRI credit card and e-pay users can also get an additional 20% off, provided that they make a minimum purchase of Rp. 150,000 (~USD10.55)

If you love uniquely scented organic soap, you can also get Sharmista’s organic coffee soap for Rp. 30,000 (~USD2.11). It’s palm oil-free and it’s ideal for those who prefer to avoid harsh chemicals in regular soaps.

Working from home for months might make you miss dressing up. Treat yourself to a minimalistic Delika Sheela dress (Rp. 350,000, ~USD25) that looks stylish but is still breezy and comfortable for you to wear while sitting at your desk at home.
