2. Hotel Kuretakeso Kemang – a Japanese-style hotel with an onsen

Those of you who are fond of the warm Japanese aesthetic will find Hotel Kuretakeso delightful. Located in Kemang, it’s within reach of some of South Jakarta’s hip restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.

While you’re there, you might want to soak in the onsen to destress. You’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to Japan.
You’ll be spending the night in a tatami room (from Rp. 915,000, ~USD64), which combines a traditional look with something a little MUJIesque.
